We use a token system — each book you generate costs one token. During beta, tokens are free, though limited, so everyone gets a chance to try Mooboo without needing to pay. Paid tokens are coming later, once we're out of beta.
Usually around 7 minutes, plus or minus a couple of minutes. Though it could take longer if our AI partners are under heavy load or experiencing issues.
No — Mooboo was built as a done-for-you service. Depending on feedback, we may add editing in the future.
If something doesn't look right — wrong words, a character who doesn't look like themselves, odd hands, a messy image, anything off — tap Something's wrong on the page or cover that looks off, tell us what's wrong, and we'll fix it.
Yes — Mooboo can print your storybook as a real 8″×8″ hardcover book, mailed to your door. Only the 30-page length option is eligible for printing.

Your uploaded photo is used only to generate your book's illustrations. Mooboo itself never stores it — it passes through our systems temporarily and is gone once generation begins. It is sent securely to our AI partners to do that generation and safety-check it, and they retain it for up to 30 days for safety monitoring (or longer only if the law requires it), then delete it too.
No — your photos and story details are used only to create your book. We don't train any AI models on them, and our agreements with our AI partners prevent them from doing the same.
A single inappropriate image reaching a child's book would do more damage to trust in Mooboo than almost anything else we could get wrong, so we don't rely on one filter at the end. Before anything is generated, we check your uploaded photos and story details for anything that shouldn't be in a children's book. Once pages are illustrated, every single one — plus the cover — is independently reviewed by a different AI partner than the one that generated it, specifically checking for anything unsafe. If anything is ever flagged, even something we're not fully sure about, it's held for a real person to review before it reaches you.
Private by default. We will never make one of your digital books public unless you choose to.
No — books you generate are for personal, non-commercial use: reading them, sharing them with family, printing a copy for yourself. Selling or commercialising them — reselling copies, listing them for sale, using them as merchandise — isn't permitted without our written agreement.
